Method 1: Reset via Hosting Control Panel (Recommended)

If the email is hosted on cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Go to Email Accounts
3. Find the email address
4. Click Manage
5. Under Security, enter a New Password
6. Click Update Email Settings

✅ The new password applies immediately to Webmail, Outlook, and mobile devices.

Method 2: Reset from Webmail (If Allowed)

Some webmail systems allow password change from inside webmail.

Roundcube / Horde

1. Log in to Webmail
2. Go to Settings → Password
3. Enter old password and set new one
4. Save changes

⚠️ If you don’t see a Password option, this feature is disabled.

Method 3: Reset via Hosting Provider (If You Don’t Have Access)

1. If you can’t access cPanel:
2. Contact your hosting provider
3. Request email password reset
4. They’ll verify ownership and reset it for you

Important After Reset

Update the new password on:

📱 Mobile phone (Mail app)

💻 Outlook / Thunderbird

Any third-party apps using the email

Otherwise, the account may keep failing to log in.
